Alan D. Duncan is Research Director for Gartner’s Business Analytics research team. An evangelist for information and analytics as enablers of better business outcomes, he has over 22 years of international business experience, working with blue-chip companies in a range of industry sectors and he has worked extensively across the UK and Europe, the Middle East and Australasia. Prior to joining Gartner, was Director of Data Governance at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), leading the university through the initial phases of its data-enabled business transformation programme. A popular and thought-provoking speaker and tutor on the international conference circuit, he has been recognized by as “one of the top 12 Data Governance gurus you should be following on Twitter.”
